superfortress ruins
a british photographer on flickr took this series of pictures of an old crashed B29. that must’ve been quite a large accident. what strikes me most is how some of its structures are still visible while on other parts it’s as if the crashed aircraft had been slowly becoming its own landscape - part man-made, part organic, part something else entirely.

something I didn’t know (but should’ve, had I thought about it for two seconds) : there’re crash site tourists and crash site websites. quite morbid, in my opinion.
