for those of you who couldn’t make it to zumthor’s conference in paris last month, here’s the video. in it, he discusses six recent projects : the ‘zinc mine museum’ and a memorial for the victims of persecution as witches in norway ; an urban plan in leiden, netherlands ; the serpentine gallery pavillion for this year and his ‘work house’ for alain de botton in england ; and the mansion for a very very rich man in doha.
I’ve been meaning to share my impressions of this presentation, and I still will, but later on.
